Sign Up: How do I sign up and how much will it cost?
Signing up is easy, just add your details and we will send you a quick email to confirm registration. Your first two weeks are free and membership is only £9.97 per month once your introductory period has expired. Payment is made through PayPal.
Sign Up: Do I have to use PayPal?
Yes, PayPal is recommended. PayPal is a safe, simple way to send and receive money online. You can pay with money held in your PayPal account balance or use another payment method such as a credit card, debit card or your bank account. You are also in control of your payments and can cancel at any time you would like. If you would like to pay another way, please contact us.
Training: How does the training work?
Once you have registered, you will be provided with four workouts to complete per week. These workouts will constantly change each week, and are provided with a video explaining the movements involved.
Training: What equipment do I need?
All the workouts can be completed at home with minimal equipment. You will require a set of dumbbells and a stability ball. If you are in the UK, these can be found at a store such as Argos. You will also need a skipping rope and access to an exercise bench or step, although a chair can be used in most instances.
Training: How much weight should I use for each exercise?
For each exercise, you should use a weight that is challenging, but not so heavy that you are unable to lift it. In general, women will need between 2kg and 10kg, depending on the exercise. Men would normally use between 5kg and 15kg.
Training: Can I do extra workouts if I want?
Yes, you can supplement the workouts with Cardiovascular exercise such as running, swimming or biking to enhance weight loss, if this is your goal. It is important that you don't overdo things, however. If you are unsure about any extra exercise you are doing, please contact us.
Training: Do I record the workouts?
Yes, it is recommended that you record your workouts in a notebook. This is useful to gauge progress, by keeping track of weights you used for certain exercises, as well as time taken to complete workouts. With other workouts, you are asked to record how much work you complete in a certain timeframe. Recording this time with the date the workout was completed will also help you see your improvements over time.
Nutrition: Can I eat more calories if I exercise more?
Generally no. The calories calculated for your intake when you sign up is a good value to aim for, regardless of the amount of exercise you are completing. If you feel like you are losing weight too quickly, you may increase calories, but this is only on rare occasions.
Nutrition: What if I can't find a food in the database?
If you can't find a food in the database, enter the nearest equivalent you find. If you let us know, we can have the food added.
Nutrition: Do I need to record my food intake?
Although you can still achieve results without logging your food intake, it is highly recommended that you track your food intake to ensure you are comsuming less calories than you are burning, resulting in weight loss.
